Coming Q4 2024 Creality K2 Plus is coming to JH Designs LLC. This will allow JH Design's to quickly and accurately print large projects. Current capabilities are 250mmx250mmx250mm.
The printer has the following specs:
- Multi-Color Printing: Supports Multi-Color Printing With Up to 16 Colors Using 4 CFS
- Direct Drive Extruder
- Tilt Detection
- FOC Closed-Loop Motors
- 350*350*350mm Build Volume
- Active Chamber Heater
The Creality K2 Plus Combo is a high-end 3D printer designed for users who need versatility and performance. It offers a large build volume of 350 x 350 x 350 mm, which is ideal for larger projects. The printer supports multi-color printing with its CFS (Color Filament System), capable of handling up to 16 colors with automatic filament loading and backup. This is powered by a dual-gear direct drive extruder that ensures smooth and accurate filament flow.
The K2 Plus can reach impressive printing speeds of up to 600 mm/s, with a high acceleration of 30,000 mm/s². This combination allows for faster production without sacrificing quality. It also features advanced technologies like input shaping (to reduce vibrations), a closed-loop motor system for more precise movement, and an active chamber heater to maintain optimal printing conditions, especially for technical filaments like ABS and carbon-fiber-filled materials.
Safety features include an 800W high-power AC heated bed with double safeguards against overheating, AI-powered camera monitoring for print failure detection, and automatic bed leveling. These aspects ensure reliability and ease of use, particularly for complex, multi-color prints.
